The popular teen mystery drama series, Outer Banks, is back with its third season now streaming on Netflix. The show follows a group of misfit teens known as the “Pogues” who live in a divided town.
Set in a coastal town along the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the community is separated into wealthy seasonal residents, known as the “Kooks,” and working-class locals, known as the “Pogues.” The Pogue teenagers embark on a mission to find out what happened to the father of the group’s ringleader, John B. As they seek answers, they also discover a treasure linked to John B’s father, which puts them on the radar of the law and a wealthy group of “Kooks.”
In season 3, we can expect loose ends to be tied up, and questions to be answered. There are 10 episodes in the latest season, and according to Chase Stokes, who plays John B Routledge, it’s like an acoustic ballad album with a lot going on.
The cast includes Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Charles Esten, Drew Starkey, Austin North, and Carlacia Grant. In addition, Deadline reported new cast members Andy McQueen, Fiona Palomo, and Lou Ferrigno Jr.
Outer Banks was created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, and a fourth season has already been commissioned. If you are interested in watching Outer Banks, it is available on Netflix, and you will need a subscription to access it.
